Albrecht Von Berne

Son of Walther, Commander of Kindelbruck's military forces

He is tall and lean, with short dark brown hair and is clean shaven. He has brown eyes, and his features are softer than his father, taking much from his late mother’s side.

A handsome man in his early 30s, Albrecht is the eldest of five children, and heir to his father’s barony. He grew up in his father’s lands, them having been established shortly before his birth. He squired underneath his father, and shortly after being knighted, he was given command of Kindelbruck’s army, under close watch by his father, who would be quick to correct any mistakes his son made in his military decisions. Within a few years, he was shaped into a excellent field commander, and until recently has had a near flawless record in his campaigns.

Married ten years prior, Albrecht has three children, ages 7, 4, and 3. His wife has ties to the Archclericy of Veluna, so to gain approval of her parents (both of which were ordained priests of Heironeous), Albrecht converted to the worship of the Valorous Knight.

He is a very intellectual man, and spends much of his time pouring through various tomes of knowledge, both mystical and mundane, and has a fondness for the history of Oerth. He is currently attempting to learn how to cast spells from scrolls and wands…

In his teenage years, he was a very flirtatious individual, and was said to go through relationships at roughly the same rate as the cycles of the moon. Being of noble standing however, he realized that he would have to settle down, and considers himself lucky that he was able to marry someone who he loved, political ties aside.

With the recent abductions at the hands of the cult known as the Silver Strand, his father instructed him to lead a contingent of his forces into the Gnarly Woods, outside his borders, in order to stop whatever the cult is planning.

After a brief skirmish, the cult was scattered or slain, but unfortunately they succeeded somewhat in their plan and summoned a powerful demon. Survivors fled, but after the fog descended upon the scene, Albrecht’s whereabouts are currently unknown.
